Unattended Combat Protection

Warded build pieces have extra combat protection when permitted defenders are absent. For building pieces linked to an enabled ward, combat damage is suppressed while no owner or explicitly permitted player is being rendered nearby. A stranger does not count as a defender. When a permitted defender is present, the server's configured ward damage reduction applies instead. This concerns combat damage to linked pieces; it does not replace structural support or ward permissions.

Rain Protection

An active ward helps keep uncovered building pieces from weathering in rain. Building pieces connected to an enabled, non-abandoned ward are treated as protected from ordinary rain wear. This is useful for outdoor decks and exposed wooden details. It does not remove the ordinary need for structural support, and it does not promise protection from Ashlands or lava damage. Keep the ward charged and check its coverage rather than assuming every nearby piece is linked.

Portal Hub

The Portal Hub on all servers allows players to claim one portal to their main home base and personal portal network. Select a portal with no name on it. Label your Portal with your in game Name and link it to a portal at your base The portal at your base must allow for easy return to the portal hub. You may secure your base and other portals from visitors if you please. The making of traps or one way trips is not allowed with any of your portals. Because of this it is strongly recommended that the portal at your end is outside, and on solid dirt, or a floor immediately above dirt. Holes under the floor will become a trap if/when the floor resolves after the player arrives and an irritated Thane will demolish your building to release the player. If there are no available Portals you may approach a Thane to take over an abandoned player's portal. This is particularly important on the Main Server as some players go quiet in between releases but do return. Portals are taken on a "first come, first served" basis. If you desire a particular portal to be closer to a team mate then swaps/exchanges require agreement from both parties. The portal Hub on progression also has access to the Boss locations. This is a Sub-Portal Hub on Main And access to The Starter town, Haldor, Hildir and Community facilities that are not at the Starter town The Portal Hub on Main has access to several sub-hubs for specific activities - See .......

Territories

The exact restictions are shown in the Map when you hover your cursor in the Territory. Top right corner of the map. This varies depending on the nature of the territory. At Towns this is required to allow acess to the Town by all players but to limit who can build/demolish there etc. To build in these locations you need to submit your plan/idea to a Thane to have it approved as a petition to the King. Approval is rare so you need a GOOD Reason.
