Extra boss stars can mean more non-trophy rewards.
For boss drops that do not already use the normal level multiplier, Sunshine Alley scales non-trophy quantities with the boss's star level. Eligible one-per-player rewards count nearby players, within roughly 100 metres, rather than everyone online. Trophy quantities do not receive this extra star multiplier, but are given 1 to each attending player.
