Orange ward pins show expired wards; red pins show abandoned ones.
When one of your wards expires, its map label shows the time left before abandonment and its pin turns orange. After abandonment, the pin turns red and its label identifies the owner. These pins help you find a base that needs attention; they do not renew or protect the ward by themselves.
