Every Server has a Town.

This has multiple community facilities for you to use and can be used as a base of operations until you establish your own base.

The Features vary from Server to server.

The Progression Server town is built during the Initial and Isolation Seasons by the players participating in those seasons.

Portals to the town are from the Sacrificial stones, where a player arrives in the Server, and from the Portal Hub

There is usually a Dormitory/Barracks where a temporary bed can be claimed with a footlocker chest.

There are public Workbenches, Forges, Kitchens, Halls for rested bonus as well

Various Quest givers are also in the Town, as well as other locations.

Other chests are in the town. Unless explicitly signed - do not take anything from any chest except your own footlocker. This is tracked and there are consequences for stealing. i.e. there are chests where people will donate old gear and food which is free - the signs make it clear which ones these are. All other chests, such as drop chests for materials to expand the town etc should not be taken from. If in doubt - Ask first!
