As we have had multiple cases of Ships being “borrowed” on the High Seas King Eirc has enabled our worthing Vikings to claim ownership of their vessels.

Simply Highlight the rudder and you will see the command to claim it, based on your keyboard mapping

Once a Ship is claimed you can unclaim it the same way.

Anyone who tries to use a ship that is claimed by someone else will not be allowed.
Anyone trying to access the cargo of an owned vessel will not be allowed, and generate a message
Anyone attempting this will generate a system wide message (all servers and logs) that they are attempting to steal that ship.
Anyone attempting to destroy an owned ship to get the materials will also generate a system wide message they are attempting piracy.

In short - if you see a vessel of any type just floating, check the rudder carefully before touching it.
