Luck
When magical item drops from monsters or bosses, luck gives a chance for the item to advance one rarity, for example if Epic rarity was dropping, it will become a Legendary.
Additionally, it will increase chance of getting an Artifact when Enchanting or if a Boss drops a legendary item (Does not apply to regular mobs).
Enchantment Ranges
- Magic 1-5
- Rare 5-10
- Epic 10-15
- Legendary 15-20
Loot Advancement Calculation
Monsters and bosses that drops loot will have the combined luck score of everyone nearby as a % chance to advance rarity. If the combined score of 3 players is 80, there's 80% chance for all dropped magic items advances one level, including boss loot.
Artifact Calculation
Luck chance have diminishing returns, where as 1000 Luck will be unnoticeably better than 100.
- Mid-point for effect is at 40 Luck, from there each point in luck gains less and less chance increase.
- High-end: 80.
- Against bosses: Luck is the combined score of all nearby players
- When enchanting: Luck is the combined score of you currently equipped armor
Formula:
setItemDropChance *= 1f + (0.30f / (1f + Mathf.Exp(-(luckFactor - 0.4f) / 0.1f)));
Artifact Chance Modifier
LuckFactor = Luck / 100
Multiplier is multiplied to the original Artifact Chance
