====== Gizmo ======

Gizmo is a building addon developed by [[Developer:Comfy/Seiko]], and includes further enhancement made for our servers exclusively. Allowing you to rotate build pieces in any direction and rotation divisions.

This allows you to rotate build pieces an all 3 dimensions, and increase the number of rotation steps.

  * Rotate objects in all three axes using modifier keys and the scroll wheel
  * Intuitive gizmo helps visualize rotations
  * Increased rotational snap precision
  * Rotate in the Y (Green) plane with no modifier keys
  * Rotate in the X (Red) plane with LCtrl 
  * Rotate in the Z (Blue) plane with LAlt 
  * Reset an axis by holding its modifier and hitting T
  * Increase / decrease resolution with Numpad + / Numpad - 

You can also change [[Software:Config files|Keybinds]] to your own liking.

Note: In NoMap servers this mod is enforced as it prevents the default rotation from pointing towards north.

===== Increase/Decrease Rotations =====
  * Option 1: Edit the gizmo file in any text editor. Incresase the number rotations per 360 degrees. If you're at 8, go to 16, 16 go to 32, etc.. This will allow you, using Gizmo, to rotate any pieces to align with prexisting structures. 
  * Option 2: Using a keyboard with a physical number pad (this leaves out most laptops) either double or halve the number of snap divisions using the plus and minus keys from the number pad. Alternatively here you could remap those choice to keys that you do have on your keyboard if you are using a laptop.
