====== Hellshine ======

Welcome to Hellshine,\\
where only the Brave, Foolhardy, or Terminally Suicidal venture.

Hellshine is not an Eternal Server, though it usually lasts longer than prog.

Currently there is No Hellshine\\
The King has been overloaded with the many tasks needed to get Prog and Main up to speed with Ashlands, so Hellshine has had to wait its turn.\\

A new Hellshine is anticipated though and will be announced in Discord.

===== Purpose of Hellshine =====

Hellshine was originally envisioned as the PVP Server.

It was also seen as a serious step up in difficulty from Main, for those combat oriented types who need further challenges. (or those who just like to suffer)

All the Mobs are** __significantly__** harder than main both in their Hit points and the damage they deal

As a result they all drop significantly more loot and enchanting mats

===== Death in Hellshine =====

Currently Death in Hellshine has all the costs of death on any of our servers - skill loss, and gear drops where you die.

You will get lots of practice for gear recovery.

===== Hellshine Facilities =====
Usually a Fortress is constructed around the Trophy Circle where you first appear on the Server.

This is a very small Safe zone - No PVP here.\\
As soon as you cross the moat all safety is a dim memory

There are no other Public Facilities on the Server.\\
Haldor and Hildir are here of course - but be very cautious when you approach them, if you can find them!.  such high profile places tend to be watched.

===== Preparing to Enter Hellshine =====

OK, so you really want to reduce all your skill points, quickly.

You will need:
  * Top end gear legendary enchanted - preferably artifacts
  * Best food
  * Best portions
  * Best weapons - Artifacts are nice
  * Well rested and alert
  * Mentally prepared for skill loss and nightmare Gear recoveries.
  * Pack as empty as you can to lug all the loot out

===== Bosses on Hellshine =====
Yes, the Bosses are here.\\
They are similarly ramped up in hit points and Damage dealt\\
At present No one knows what they drop as they have not survived the attempts  to report back.


Seriously though, A complete revamp of Boss drops has been done since the last Hellshine (pre Ashlands) was closed. - Watch this space for what the New (Post Ashlands) Hellshine Bosses will drop once it is launched

===== Hellshine Tips =====
All mobs hit way harder - Treat Greylings with respect!  Necks are more than just a nuisance\\
Remember it is also PVP\\
People are allowed to pillage your bases, destroy your portals, steal your boats, lay in ambush to kill you.\\
Players do not show up on the Map\\
Find a nice Troll cave, or somewhere equally discrete to hide your base - a Big base visible from the sea is asking for visitors.\\
Don't leave anything on hellshine you would weep about if it was looted\\
Make lots of emergency waypoint portals so you can minimise the naked run distance to get to your corpse.\\
When exploring make a quick shelter with a bed to have your spawn point on the correct side of the ocean\\
Try not to leave too many obvious portals around as quick entry points for visitors
